KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Keynote speakers Adam Lowy from moveforhunger.org and Christine Souffrant from vendedy.com will work with all globally minded middle school and high school students as they develop action plans. The GIN mission is to empower the social entrepreneurial spirit among those attending. Both of these speakers will be with us throughout the entire conference and will be available for advice, inspiration and support.
Adam Lowy, from Move for Hunger will be representing the issue of world hunger and Christine Souffrant, from Vendedy Corp will aid the understanding of the issue of sustainability. Several local speakers will also present throughout the weekend. |

Christine Souffrant is a Haitian American Ivy League graduate with over experiences in over 30 countries. In 2014 she launched Venedy and received 22 global press features, a partnership with IBM and recognition by the Clinton Global Initiative. Dubbed the emerging "Etsy of the Caribbean" and the future "Ebay for Street Vendors", Vendedy is a social enterprise start up that is digitizing the Street Vending Industry via phone app technology. The network will alleviate 2 billion street vendors out of poverty via the digital marketplace.
Adam Lowy, founded Move for Hunger in 2009, creating the first and only non-profit that works with the relocation industry to support local food banks. The organization mobilizes moving companies to collect unopened, non-perishable items during the move and delivers them to the banks. To date, it has moved over 2.4 million pounds of food in the U.S. enough to feed 2 million.
